Quantum chip design optimization and automation in superconducting coupler architecture

Superconducting coupler architecture demonstrates great potential for scalable and high-performance quantum processors, yet how to design efficiently automatically "Qubit-Coupler-Qubit (QCQ)" from the layout perspective remains obscure. In this work, optimal QCQ is studied first time we come up with three key findings. Firstly, acquire crucial zero-coupling condition that only dependent on geometric of layout. Secondly, upper bound effective coupling between qubits found out as $0.187~ \omega_q/\beta_s^2$, surprisingly it depends qubit frequency $\omega_q$ qubit-coupler dispersive rate $\beta_s$ instead Thirdly, propose demonstrate an efficient procedure reach very bound, which critical efficiency realization high-fidelity two-qubit gates. Our work takes important step forward superconducting chip automation.
